| For consultants, taxes are quite a bit more taxing, pardon the pun, than they might be for the average employee. It seems that the government wants to deter tax evasion within the ranks of IT contractors and consultant. Personally, I think they may be just a bit jealous of the freedom we have but, that is beside the point. Use these links to help you keep within the law and out of trouble. | As an independent IT contractor, I need a lot of supporting sites and services to keep myself and business legal, informed and organized. In the pages linked here are the many resources I use to accomplish this.
For Instance, PacePros.com is my Employer of Record. This means that I have contracted PacePros to perform all my withholding, benefit program management, 401k contributions, and tax tracking. FreeRealtime.com allows me to check the real-time stock prices and trends on NASDAQ and Big- Board stocks I may be researching. With many additional forums and articles to help me in gaining more knowledge related to the stock research I must perform to make fast accurate decisions and get in ahead of the curve. |
